1953 MG TD for sale in San Luis Obispo CA

British Sports Cars in downtown San Luis Obispo is pleased to offer this 1953 MG TD for sale. This is a long-time San Luis Obispo car wearing its original California black plates. While we cannot confirm that it has spent its entire life here on the Central Coast, we do know that it has been in San Luis Obispo since at least the early 1980s.

This is a matching-numbers example and a wonderful running and driving MG. It received an older restoration that has held up well and today presents as a very nice driver—exactly the kind of classic you can take to Cars & Coffee, local car shows, out to the beach, or simply enjoy on a weekend drive without worrying about having a concours-level car.

The TD retains its matching-numbers engine and features leather upholstery and a convertible top. It also comes with a brand-new tonneau cover still in its box.
